Heirs Together

1 Peter 3:7

Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
1 Peter 3:7

Peter lifts marriage into eternal perspective.

The husband and wife are co-heirs.

Equal recipients.
Shared participants.
United in salvation.

No spiritual hierarchy.

No second-class citizens.

Both stand at the same cross.
Both depend on the same mercy.
Both inherit the same glory.

Marriage is not a power structure. It is a partnership of grace. Two forgiven sinners walking toward heaven together.

When couples see themselves as co-heirs, competition fades. Cooperation grows.

Gracious Father, thank You for making us heirs together in Christ. Help us treat others as fellow recipients of Your mercy. Unite our hearts in shared purpose. Let Your grace shape our homes.

Walking Together in Grace,

eep
