2 Peter 1:14

Since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.
2 Peter 1:14

Peter’s urgency is not self-generated; it is revealed.

He is not guessing about his future. He is not pretending life will last forever. Peter understands that his time is short.

And yet Peter does not panic. He does not retreat. He does not waste what remains.

He keeps obeying.

There is something deeply peaceful about that kind of confidence. Not control, but trust. Not anxiety, but assurance.

Because when Christ makes something clear, we are freed from endless guessing and invited into faithful obedience.

We do not need to know everything.
We only need to walk in what He has already shown.

Step by step.
Day by day.

Trusting that the light He gives is enough for the path before us.

Father, we confess how often we demand full understanding before we move. Thank You that You give us what we need for each step. Help us trust what You have made clear and obey without needing to control what comes next. We surrender our need for certainty and walk forward in faith.

Trusting What Is Clear,
