The Rejected Stone

1 Peter 2:4

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious.
1 Peter 2:4

Peter reminds us that faith is not a moment; it is a movement. We keep coming to Jesus. Again and again. In confusion. In weakness. In doubt. In trust.

Jesus is the “living stone”, alive, foundational, immovable. Yet He was rejected. That tension matters. What the world dismisses, God declares precious.

This verse quietly reframes suffering. Rejection does not mean abandonment. Loss does not mean failure. Sometimes it means alignment with Christ Himself.

We do not come to an idea or a philosophy. We come to a Person, chosen by God, treasured by heaven, and sufficient for everything we face.

Jesus, Living Stone, draw us back to You when we feel weary or rejected. Anchor our life in what heaven calls precious, not what the world applauds.
