Established in the Truth

2 Peter 1:12

Therefore I intend always to remind you of these qualities, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have.
2 Peter 1:12

There is a difference between knowing the truth and being established in it. One informs the mind: the other anchors the soul.

To be established is to be rooted, steady, unmoved, and not easily carried by culture, emotion, fear, or circumstance.

And this is what God is forming, not just informed believers, but grounded disciples. Not simply people who understand truth, but people who stand firmly in it.

Because when truth moves from the mind into the heart and finally into the way we live, it becomes an anchor that holds us steady no matter what shifts around us.

Lord, we confess how easily we are influenced by what is around us instead of being guided by your Word. Thank You for truth that does not drift or change. Root us deeply in what is eternal. Steady our hearts when everything around us feels uncertain. We surrender our instability and choose to stand firm in You.

Established and Steady,
