Be Diligent

2 Peter 1:10

Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.
2 Peter 1:10

Peter now turns from warning to response. “Be all the more diligent.”

Not passive.
Not casual.
Not indifferent.

But intentional.

Because growth does not happen accidentally.

Assurance does not deepen casually.

Christlike character does not form without pursuit.

This diligence is not about earning salvation; it is about engaging it.

Leaning in.
Showing up.
Walking it out.

Not proving something to God, but confirming what God has done in us.

As these qualities take root, something begins to rise within us:

Clarity.
Confidence.
Assurance.

Not confidence in ourselves, but in the God who called us.

Lord, stir in us a holy diligence. Help us pursue growth with intention and faith. Let our lives reflect the reality of Your calling. We surrender passivity and step forward in obedience.

Pursuing His Purpose,
